The range of products within the product sector of Heavy Load Handling mainly consists of battery-driven Heavy Load Transport Carts with a lot of different versions for in-house transport of heavy loads. Further on we offer stationary installations for turning / manipulating of heavy products with wide dimensions and a lot of different geometries.
Basing on our extremely flexible concept with a few standardized drive units in combination with a wide range of very different load units, these Heavy Load Transport Carts are in use at nearly all kinds of industries. These Heavy Load Transport Carts are available as Universal Transport Carts, Pallet Trucks, Flatbed Trucks as well as Push - / Pull Units with hydraulically operated couplings for manoeuvring of a lot of different "Transport Trailers". Depending on their different use the Heavy Load Transport Carts are equipped with a hydraulic lifting system for small or big lifting stroke.
The Heavy Load Transport Carts are in use at very different industries sectors, for example + as Coil Transport Cart for transport and loading of coils onto decoilers as well as for offloading of coils from recoilers within all kind of coil processing companies as well as within coil service centers + as Die Change Cart for transport of press dies of a lot of tons weight as well as for pushing these press dies into the presses and to pull them out of the presses of customers out of the stamping industry as well as metal forming industry. + as assembly cart or transport cart within the production of generators, transformers, big gearboxes e.t.c. + as flatbed truck within flow production lines of wind energy systems producers, for example for assembly of complete nacelles of wind energy systems. They also are used for assembly of single component groups. Weights of 100 tons or more of the assembled unit to be handled are "daily work". Pallet Trucks are used for indoor transport of mainly heavy goods of any kind, which are lying or standing on pallets and need to be carried to storage, shipment department or to further machining / assembly.
Bigger and special goods, for example generators, gearboxes, transformers etc., but also plastic injection moulds and special moulds usually are stored on pallets for transport. Universal Transport Carts are used to carry mainly heavy loads of any kind in-house within buildings, for purpose of storage, dispatch or for further machining. By Universal Transport Cart you can carry heavy loads quickly and manoeuvrable, independent from existence of overhead cranes
Universal Transport Carts usually do consist of a drive unit, which is equipped with forklift batteries, and a customer-specific configurated load pick up. Very often it is necessary to move presses including their coil feeding lines within production buildings, due to reorganization of the production site, caused by need of additional production space at a certain part of the production building. This very often causes the problem, that at the new place for the press with the coil feeding line there is no overhead crane available and / or no coil loading table for loading of the decoiler or offloading of the recoiler. Flatbed Trucks FBT usually are used for inhouse transport of heavy goods of any kind with bigger base areas, for purpose of storage, for shipment or for further machining.
One main use of Flatbed Trucks FBT is the transport of big machines / components from station to station within flow production lines. Within a flow production line, different from an assembly belt line, the goods to be assembled are not driven continuously, but moved form station to station within special cycles. Staying at the single station can take up to several hours. The products to be produced within such a flow production line, can have a weight of 100 tons or even more and they are produced on so called "Transport Pallets". The Flatbed Trucks FBT drive below the transport pallets and lift the transport pallets including the products staying on the pallets. Special Designs for many purposes. Hedin Universal Transporter Carts are used in a large variety of individual sectors. Therefore the load to be transported may be very different. The loads to be picked up of every UC cart always will be adopted to the specific customer request, whilst the drive unit will be standardised as far as possible.
Most of the Hedin Lagan Heavy Transporters can be delivered as AGV`s, Automated Guided Vehicles.
